I started working with Julia right as I was starting my business, so Julia has helped me with those first moments of launch, which was an incredibly valuable support. Some of the things I can celebrate after these first months working together include: getting clearer on my branding and what I offer, building the confidence and skills to have investment conversations with potential clients, launching my website, and getting my first clients! It felt that I went from a million ideas to a concrete business (and even if I still have the million ideas, I am better equipped to navigate and operationalize them, one at a time).
There is a lot about launching your own business that is emotional. Really understanding what obstacles you have in front of you, and how a lot of these are of your own creation, is really helpful in knowing how to work on yourself to overcome them. Working with a coach, and with Julia in particular, hence makes this process much easier - and faster - because I got an external perspective of when I am too much in my head, the knowledge of what to do (from someone who’s gone through the same experiences) and the encouragement needed to trust in myself and my capabilities.
